“For 160 years, the YMCA has played an integral role in helping people in the Brockville area lead healthier, more active lives. I’m so pleased the Ontario Trillium Foundation is making this $127,500 investment in the YMCA of Eastern Ontario to improve the facility for the thousands of people who use it every month. I’m a strong supporter of the YMCA and am so proud of the invaluable services and programs their dedicated staff and volunteers provide to men and women, boys and girls in our community.”
- Steve Clark, MPP, Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lake
“We are grateful to the Ontario Trillium Foundation in recognizing the important work carried out by the YMCA. We house the only indoor swimming pool in Brockville and the surrounding area, which has more than 20,000 visitors per month. With this volume of use, our locker rooms and showers are in need of updating. The OTF grant will help us to maintain this valuable community asset and to continue to offer high quality, accessible physical activities for all members of our community.”
- Rob Adams, CEO, YMCA of Eastern Ontario
