Provincial Lockdown Announcement Fees and key dates

Dear Members:

In follow-up to yesterday’s email and today’s provincial announcement, your YMCA will be closing at the end of business today, with the exception of our childcare and school-age care programs. We continue to support the work of our public health units in their efforts to keep our communities safe.

The province has announced that this round of closures will end on May 1 in which case, we would expect to re-open on May 1. These dates may change.

During the closure, your membership fees will not be drawn. They will recommence automatically when we re-open.

If you are able, I hope you will consider donating your April membership fee to the Y. Your gift helps us meet ongoing operational costs that continue during the closures and include such things as maintaining the pools and covering security costs. This ensures that our facilities are in good condition to welcome you back faster.

Your donation is eligible for a charitable tax receipt. You can donate by contacting member services.
