Rob's Blog A busy, positive week.

Greetings:

Well it seems that a bug seems to have caught up to some, including my own clan as well. We were forced to cut our family skating weekend short due to Declan coming down with the flu. So far, Jean and I have escaped – so far that is.

This short work week included stewardship meetings in Kingston with donors, and community stakeholders. It was great to hear from them on how they feel the YMCA is a vital and essential service for the community. Wednesday included a board meeting that included colleagues from YMCA Canada and the YMCA Ontario Regional Development Centre, and Thursday included a meeting with Easter Seals President and CEO Kevin Collins. He and I discussed our organizations’ partnership and the upcoming Swim for Kids event. Stay tuned for more details. 

I'm ending my week with meeting with potential board members and attending the YMCA Foundation Board meeting.
