Wishing you a very happy holiday

Dear Members and Friends of the YMCA:

As we head into the holiday season, I want to take a moment to wish you a very happy and peaceful time of year.

This year, I will be enjoying a quiet Christmas with Jean, Declan and Jean’s dad while Holden and his wife, Charlotte will be celebrating on the Sunshine Coast. As always, we will take time for outdoor activities including skating as well as having lots of cozy indoor time. We are all avid readers and on my to-read list this holiday are books by Murray Sinclair and James Patterson.

We will also find time for a brief trip to Ottawa where we will cheer on Team Canada at the 2025 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championships. Go Team Canada!

Whether or not you celebrate any of the many holidays that take place at this time of year, I hope you are able to spend some time with those you love, whether they are near or far, whether in-person or virtual.
