COVID-19 Update: Membership and childcare fees

We hope that you and your loved ones are healthy and safe, and finding ways to practice good social distancing or self-isolation.

We are providing an update regarding membership and licensed childcare fees.

As you may know, payments for the middle of March had been processed prior to the announcement of our closure. Rest assured that all payments for membership and licensed childcare will be reviewed and adjusted when we re-open. Payments made for youth recreation school break camps will be refunded when we re-open as well.

Scheduled future payments have been suspended. There will be no billing for membership or licensed childcare until we re-open.

To our members who have reached out to express their desire to donate their fees to the Y during the closure – thank you! On a very personal note, I want to tell you how much your commitment to our mission has touched me. It re-assures me that you understand how important our work is in our community.

Support of this work is as important today as ever. To anyone who wants to make a gift of all or part of their fees, please donate here to receive a tax receipt for all contributions of $20 or more. Please accept my sincere thanks for helping kids and families in our communities.

We continue to monitor this rapidly changing situation, and we appreciate the stress and frustration that may result. We’re grateful for your continued support and look forward to seeing you all when we re-open in April.  

The health and wellbeing of our members, staff, volunteers and our community remain our focus. We will continue to provide updates as the situation evolves and look forward to seeing you back at the Y as soon as it is safe to do so.
