Quotes

“The United Way is working closely with the community to support our youth and we are proud to partner with the YMCA of Eastern Ontario to provide bussing for the Teen Night initiative.” said Trish Buote, Executive Director, United Way Leeds & Grenville. “We want to remove barriers for teens from across Leeds & Grenville to have fun in a safe environment.”

“We’ve listened to kids in our community and they’ve told us they want somewhere to go where they feel safe, somewhere that isn’t about structured activities, but where they can hang out with friends,” said Rob Adams, CEO, YMCA of Eastern Ontario. “This investment in youth from the United Way recognizes the importance of providing opportunities for our kids to engage in a safe and supportive environment and allows more kids to participate more often.”
